Our luminous tapestry and sculptures-in-the-air are created from translucent nylon fabric and suspend in spaces where other art forms cannot. As natural and artificial light pass through the artwork, colors glow like stained glass and shift throughout the day. Gentle air currents bring movement to the forms, creating an ever-changing experience that invites visitors to pause, look upward, and engage with the space in a new way.
From soaring atriums and hospital lobbies to civic centers, universities, conservatories, and municipal streets and plazas, Mettje designs site-specific installations that celebrate identity, inspire wellness, and create a sense of place.
